Rovinj is a beautiful place in the middle of the peninsula of Istria, surrounded by wooded hills, full of small luxury hotels and quaint cobbled streets and steep that provide some beautiful scenery. This active fishing port is located near the Italian port of Trieste. Jewel of Istria, the fortified city of Rovinj is one of the most visited places in Croatia. The Church of St. Euphemia and its bell tower which is the highest point of Rovinj. From there you will have spectacular views of the city. At the bell tower you can see a bronze statue that says "that way the wind blows."

Without going any further, get close to this point in the evening, and then down to the cafés and terraces of the port. Later, the best is to find a good restaurant to savor the precious seafood from the Adriatic. In any of beaches you can rent a boat to visit the islands of Santa Catalina. From it, on the way back, you will have a stunning view of Rovinj. Picturesque villages, folk traditions and a great atmosphere, Rovinj is one of the places that you should not miss.
